Elinor Agam Ben David


Elinor is a stage director and the cultural attaché of Israel in France.

Married to director Elie Ben David, they live in Paris with their three children since 2015.


Born in Israel and raised in Belgium and France, she returned to Tel Aviv at the age of 18 after a bachelor's degree in theater.


She studied as a saxophonist jazz at the Rimon School of Jazz in Tel Aviv in 2000 and a preparatory year at the Nissan Nativ acting School.


Before starting her stage-directing studies, she takes part in a course at the Cours Florent in Paris.


She then pursued a BA in stage-directing at Tel Aviv University, which she began in 2003, and then continued her studies in cultural management at Lahav Executive Education, Tel Aviv University.


She works as a director, translator and acting teacher in different cities of Israel. Her shows are presented all over the country and internationally (Japan, Taiwan, India, New York, Edinburgh ...)


In 2008 she is named among the 10 people who influenced theater by the cultural site "Nana10".


In 2012 she became the house director at the Holon Mediatheque Theater as well as the assistant to the artistic director.


In 2014 she participated in the seminar "MOVILEI TARBUT" (the culture’s leaders) of Sadnaot Habama's program.


In 2015 she is appointed cultural attaché of Israel in France. As part of her position, she works on the France Israel 2018 season.
